The rules of the road for using DataProt. In plain English wherever possible.
DataProt is free to browse and use. By loading a page you agree to use the site for its intended purpose — finding coupon codes and deals for stores we cover — and not to scrape, mirror, or resell the content wholesale.
Coupon codes we publish are supplied by merchants or observed in the wild. Terms and eligibility are set by the retailer, not us. If a code doesn't work at checkout, that's information we want — email hello@dataprot.net so we can pull it.
Some links on DataProt are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. That's the whole model — and it never decides what we list or how we rank it.
The commissions cover the cost of running the site and paying the editorial team. They do not entitle us to make accurate content promises on the retailer's behalf; every purchase is between you and the store.
DataProt is provided "as is". We work hard to keep codes verified and terms accurate, but retailers change offers without notice, and prices, availability, and eligibility can shift between the time we test a code and the time you use it.
We're not liable for indirect losses stemming from a code that stopped working, an out-of-stock item, or a promo that changed at the retailer's discretion. If something's wrong, tell us — we'll fix the listing.
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in how DataProt works. If we make a material change we'll note it here. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
