With <strong>28 million subscribers<\/strong> and an extensive content variety, it\u2019s one of <strong>the biggest competitors in the streaming market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, if you want to end your subscription for whatever reason or just <strong>downgrade from a premium to a free plan<\/strong>, we\u2019ll explain in this article how to cancel Peacock on desktop and mobile and how to switch to a higher or lower tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick Overview of Peacock Plans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Peacock streaming service is available across the <strong>US and several other countries &#8211; the UK, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy<\/strong>. You can try Peacock for free if you live in any of these countries. Otherwise, you\u2019ll need to use a VPN to access it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/tech\/services-and-software\/peacock-whats-free-whats-paid-and-what-else-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">three tiers with different pricing <\/a>and features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The free tier<\/strong> with select content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Peacock Premium<\/strong> &#8211; $5\/month with unlimited content, supported by ads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Peacock Premium Plus<\/strong> &#8211; $10\/month ad-free unlimited plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Cancel a Peacock Subscription<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One interesting thing about Peacock is that <strong>canceling payments on any Premium plan doesn\u2019t disable your account<\/strong> afterward. Instead, you\u2019ll be downgraded to the free, limited plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how to manage your subscription and cancel payments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Log into<\/strong> the Peacock website through your web browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on your <strong>account profile<\/strong> icon in the upper corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong>Account Settings<\/strong>, select <strong>Change Plan<\/strong>. Your current plan will be highlighted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for the Peacock Free option and select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Change Plan<\/strong> to cancel your Peacock subscription and revert to the free plan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll receive an email confirmation that your payments have been canceled. The email will include the date when your premium plan will end. Keep in mind that this doesn\u2019t erase your account but pauses payments. If you change your mind, you can restart your premium subscription using this same method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canceling Peacock on Mobile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like most other popular streaming services, Peacock is also available on mobile. The native <strong>mobile apps are available on Android and iOS<\/strong>, so in this section, we\u2019ll cover the cancellation process for both platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Managing Peacock Account on iOS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s very easy to upgrade or downgrade your subscription via the iOS app on your iPhone or iPad. Here\u2019s how to do it in a few simple steps &#8211; although, note that you can cancel Peacock in this way <strong>only if you initially subscribed via its iOS app<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <strong>Apple App Store<\/strong> and sign in using your <strong>Apple ID<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for the <strong>Subscriptions<\/strong> section and tap on <strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find Peacock the list, tap on <strong>Edit<\/strong>, and choose <strong>Cancel Subscription<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Cancel Peacock on Android<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from using your phone\u2019s browser to manage your subscriptions, there\u2019s also a native Peacock app for Android. But we won\u2019t be using the app to cancel the subscription. Instead, we\u2019ll use Google Play:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <strong>Google Play app<\/strong> and head to your profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Payments &amp; Subscriptions<\/strong>, then tap on <strong>Subscriptions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the list of active subscriptions, find Peacock and tap on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on <strong>Cancel Subscription<\/strong> to cancel Peacock Premium on your phone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like with iOS, the subscription management on Android only works if you subscribed through the mobile app. If you used the website to create your account on Peacock, then you\u2019ll have to use the website, as explained above, to cancel payments and manage your subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like every other subscription-based service, Peacock isn\u2019t very complicated to cancel. Keep in mind that cancellation means disabling further payments. You won\u2019t be reimbursed for the last payment you made to Peacock. But, at least you\u2019re not completely losing access to the service when you cancel, which is one advantage Peacock has over more <a
