Most people who run Linux fit into one of two categories: sysadmins and hackers. While a sysadmin probably won’t be a hit at the party, he has no reason to hide in a public setting.
Hackers, on the other hand, often need to be inconspicuous. Whether one is working out of cafes or libraries, running anything other than OS X or Windows 10 can bring unwanted attention.
A New York firm called Offensive Security has addressed the problem with a desktop theme for Kali Linux. The theme is intended to help loyal users, hackers, pen testers, and cybersecurity experts go undetected.
Dubbed Kali Undercover, this theme disguises the user interface to look like plain old Microsoft Windows with the click of a button.
Of course, this is just a cosmetic update. Kali Linux is still Linux.
To download the latest version, click here or simply run the command “apt update && apt -y full-upgrade”.
